Version: The Election 2008 Political Ticker 2.2.1
Pros: It's a political news ticker.
Cons: Nowhere is it noted that this ticker is very GOP/Republican-oriented. The first two menu items are "My GOP Action Center" and "GOP News". The third option, Shop, is all GOP-related. When customizing, there are options for Fox news (known for its conservative bias), GOP Podcasts, and GOP blogs, but only Democratic feeds, which only contains three options, where the others contain many.

"Just Another RSS News Feed - No Unintstall/Spyware"
Pros: None - expect it annoyed ignorant reviewers that don't know what the Democrat tab is for (read into that what you will).
Cons: Worthless RSS news ticker, which you already have plenty of. No Uninstall is ALWAYS a bad sign. Sends profile information back to server before you can force uninstall. CNET should remove this app.
Summary: The bottom-line is that you can get this information in much more effective ways, tailored to your taste, without installing this overly intrusive spyware or adding mind-numbing diatribe here in the review section. The application is an RSS streamin... read more
