Publisher's description of Folder Size
Folder Size for Windows adds a new column to the Details view in Windows Explorer. The new column shows not only the size of files, but also the size of folders. It keeps track of which folders you view, and scans them in the background so you can see complete size of all files within the folder. It's very useful for cleaning up your disk. Once you get used to having that information available, a directory listing simply looks incomplete without it.

Version: Folder Size 2.3
Pros: Quickly determines the size of all folders so that cleaning out the system is easy.
Cons: Warning: there are no instructions on how to use this tool. This is a SERVICE and not what most think of as a program per se. It simply adds functionality to windows. Read the editor's review to find out how to use.

Version: Folder Size 2.3
Pros: It doesn't do a whole lot, but what it does it does well. I've even seen sizes of folders, etc., that I never saw with Windows "size". Recommended highly for those who care about such things.

Version: Folder Size 2.3
Pros: Ever wonder what's taking up so much room on your hard drive? These days with hundreds of gigabytes of storage make it all too easy to store something temporarily on your hard drive and then forget all about it. Then, when you go looking to clear out unused files, it's getting harder and harder to locate them.
Enter "Folder Size." If a folder looks much larger than it "ought to" be, it's easy to investigate where the culprit is. Just this morning I located over 20Gig of files that I had been messing around with and had totally forgotten about. Most of them were Recycle Bin fodder, but I did find a couple of gems as well.
