From Ashampoo:

Ashampoo AntiSpyWare 2 offers twice as much protection as the previous version. Having run a full computer scan for possible infections, the program will remove the infected files immediately. A permanent active background scanner will notify you in advance and offer real-time protection for the computer. While connected to the internet the program makes sure that new malware wont have any chance to enter your system through the back door. Virus definitions on more than 1.500.000 threats are already included you will be protected against. Virus signatures will be updated online on a regular basis so that your weapon never gets blunt.

Version 2.03 improves the performance (new engine) and updates base exception lists and signatures.

Note: In order to use the trial version of the program, you will have to register for free on the developer's site.

"A very, very good antispyware program."

Pros: Very thorough program. It has found trojans, etc when even other anti-virus programs failed. Don't think anyone could go wrong with this program.

Cons: Takes a long time, but as I said, it is very thorough.

Summary: The program is easy to use. The interface is user friendly and scheduling scans is easy and reliable. Though the program takes a long time, it does so without interfering with other work being done on the computer. The tools sections has several ... read more >>

"Superb! It fixed my PC."

Pros: It interacts well with Avast! Antivirus, making Avast check the files at the same time AntiSpyware is checking the PC. Got rid of a very nasty Trojan.

Cons: A bit slow running. It took 12 hours to check 43GB. :/

Summary: It was the only AntiVirus that actually found the Trojan that was bugging me. Spybot didn't even find it!

Pros: Easy to use,background guard active,real time protect, scan computer fast,use minim resourses.

Cons: Y like all , of this product
