Win2PDF is an easy-to-use and affordable tool for creating electronic documents in the PDF file format. It installs as a printer under Windows NT, 2000, Server 2003, Windows x64, Windows XP, or Windows Vista operating systems. Creating a PDF file is as simple as selecting Print from any application and choosing the Win2PDF printer. A file will be created, which can be viewed with a PDF viewer on any type of computer. Web links beginning with http or www are automatically converted to PDF hyperlinks, and custom Windows applications including Visual Basic applications can easily interface with Win2PDF and control the PDF filename without user intervention. You can automatically attach PDF files to e-mail, and the program merges PDF output to existing PDF files. A Terminal Server version also is available for printing in a Citrix or terminal-services environment.

Version 3.3 supports Windows Vista.

  It works with Vista

  Pros: Win2PDF 3.3 is fast to download, easy to use, perfect peroming in quality and speed! Yet it is one of the rare SW that prints as PDF under Vista solving the downwards compatibility Printing Problem of Acrobate itself for versions earlier than 8!

  Win2PDF

  Good for quick PDF conversion of simple documents

  Pros: It does what it says on the box: converts quickly to PDF files. Easy to use, very convenient prepend and append functionality that allow you to make binders easily of documents from various sources.

  Cons: The filesizes this tool generates are not suitable for web use. Even for simple Word docs I consistently have larger filesizes than the original. For complicated Powerpoint or Excel workbooks, it is worthless due to the incredible filesizes it generates (often a 10 or + multiplication of the original filesize).
