From Dombaj Soft:Unlock Access MDE unlocks MS Access MDE, ADE and ACCDE files for editing. If you have lost the original MDB/ADP/ACCDB file and need to make simple design changes to the application this is the ideal software tool. The software unlocks the MDE application allowing you to edit forms and reports in MS Access. You can change the way the application works using Access macros and expressions, but you can not change or view the VBA code.
The code will continue to work the same way while the MDE application is unlocked and when you re-lock it later. The software supports all MDE application types (MDE, ADE and ACCDE) and all MS Access versions (97 - 2007). Version 1.2 changed demo edition and licensing.

Version: Unlock Access MDE Design 1.2
Pros: The full version really unlocks the design view of an MDE database.
It's great for evaluating a software protection in an MDE database. This way I can see a protection sheme at work and don't have to guess what works in MDE databases and what doesn't.
I even like the crack protection (demo limitation) because I couldn't crack it even if I tried.
Cons: It is a bit slow on large files.

Version: Unlock Access MDE Design 1.2
Pros: The full version unlocked the legacy MDE application and I could edit the reports design, save the changes and "relock" the file.
Cons: No ProgressBar while unlocking/locking - but this is not important to me.

Version: Unlock Access MDE Design 1.2
Pros: Demo does not allow to test the actual functionality and purpose of this single form application so I could not even test how well it would unlock an ACCDE file
Cons: in all fairness...not sure about the full application but the demo sucks...when I tried to unlock an ACCDE file, I fired up the application this one form with a button and a text box came up. I then selected the file I wanted to unlock and then it looked like it was doing something but all I got was this message "This MDE file can be unlock with the full version of the application..." so that's why I think the DEMO stinks.
