"One of the premier tools for benchmarking your machine."

Pros: Great tool for benchmarking your machine.
Awesome visuals in the tests.

Cons: Its not free.
Trial version is a slimmed down version of the full...which is amazing considering the download size.
The download is HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE.
The benchmarks take a hell-of-a-long time.

"still the best benchmark out there"

Pros: everything, will tell you what you will need for future games amazing video effects,

Cons: needs 1.5 gigs just to install, no major updates from last version

Pros: This is a very useful tool!
It gives you an outside oppinion on how well your gaming pc works!

"Good version if you have a $5000.00 plus computer"

Pros: I wish I could say something nice about this version

Cons: It makes you feel you are running it on a 20 year old computer. I have a pretty good rig (P4 3.4 EE, Asus main board, GeForce 6800 Ultra, 2 gigs match mem and a Raptor HD)yet it ran like a slug. Big download! Big disappointment!

"Overrated!"

Pros: Eye candy!

Cons: Massive download considering you don't need a program this size to benchmark a PC! Shameless marketing scheme aimed at end-users to buy a new PC when chances are that the PC that people are currently using is probably all they really need for most applications! Unless your a hardcore gamer and demand the best than PCMark is probably for you!
