This program makes a good way to costume your computer for Halloween, but also serves as an ad for the full theme-enhancing software. Upon launch, Halloween Desktop is one of many choices in a Theme Manager created by Object Desktop. The Halloween Desktop theme is the only free option available, with the other choices there as an enticement to buy the full program.

The theme itself is simple, putting ghosts and jack-o'lanterns on your desktop, along with ghostly wails and haunting music. The Start menu and windows also get an orange and black makeover for more Halloween appeal. Unfortunately, we had problems loading the theme on some systems, but were unable to determine the cause of the malfunction.

If you'd like to dress up your computer for the scariest of holidays, Halloween Desktop is a good way to go, but the aforementioned stability issues make it hard for us to give it a higher rating.

Pros: I like this halloween desktop.It looks great on my computer.It truly captures the spirit of halloween.It changes everything on your desktop to makes it look scary.Graphics and the colour is excellent.

Cons: No way.

"works as it should"

Pros: Anyone who has any probs just go to wincustomise and make a post in the forum and you'll be helped out.

To revert back to xp theme you must unload web blinds first (open web blinds or right clik icon in taskbar and select "unload web blinds" the prog will then unload and shutdown),once that's done open the prog again and select windows xp theme and it will let xp take over at startup , because without unloading and re-selecting xp or classic theme the halloween theme will reload automatically at startup it's as simple as that.
Oh by the way none of stardocks theme changing software burries itself deep in the registry with a little know how all can be removed easily,no i don't work for them but i do have their software and themes installed which i bought with great pleasure after my suspious mind relaxed *winks*

"Nice!"

Pros: It completely transforms everything and adds nice (but dark)colours. The sounds and screams are very nice also

Cons: When I first installed it, it froze with 3 different screens and it wouldn't uninstall either. I had to restart the pc and it worked fine; but it rearranged my desktop icons

"I love it...spook-takular!!!"

Pros: I love the whole theme...very cool. I love that you can click on the pumpkins or ghosts to get freaky sounds, the colors, the tombstone markers for the window controls(maximize, minimize, close)... Can't say enough... very cool.

Cons: None. Get it!!
