This isn't the most feature-packed Windows-optimization utility, nor the most effective, but we found it one of the easiest to control. Advanced WindowsCare's simple interface offers two main options: Repair and Repair And Optimize. The former fixes Registry entries and cleans out your operating system. The latter does the same thing and tweaks Windows for maximum performance.

If you run into trouble, the Restoration option can return your system to its original configuration. The Advanced menu provides fine control over repairs and optimizations. On the downside, we noticed only one improvement on our test PC: a reduced amount of used RAM. Also, the program's brief descriptions of system problems may not satisfy seasoned users. And although the latest version of the app includes a help file, we wouldn't call it extensive.

Nevertheless, if your system is running sluggishly and you're considering reinstalling Windows, it wouldn't hurt to try this freeware package first.

  Pros: it find problem well and fix them

  Cons: could use a stronger spyware scanner but better look to it

  A great little programme!

  Pros: This software is quite effective and very user friendly. This is a great programme for simple everyday system optimization such as removing unwanted start-up programmes/ registry fix/ spyware remover and immunization/ erasing browser privacy/ and junk file cleaner. The interface is as basic and as user friendly as you can get with a simple 'one click fix' tab.

  Cons: The annoying right hand news center board which nags you to buy it's advertised products. (this can only be removed by purchasing the product) Also the spyware removal is not quite as effective as Superantispyware.

  one of the best " 1-click " diagnostic & repair systems

  Pros: very simple to operate. It scans registry, start up,etc. & then a 1-click repair goes to work. It could'nt be simpler. A must have!

  Cons: It does'nt remove all junk files, but as a freebie its great.

  Wouldn't be without

  Pros: I depend upon it to save me time and take care of my house cleaning daily. I still do my own checks at least weekly, but find very little since I have been using this program. Great, simple user interface which is about to be destroyed by the soon to be released version 3.0! I hae tried Advanced WindowsCare 4.0 (beta) and the new interface, unless they change it, is a multicolored mess of seperate buttons.
