AceMoney Lite is free account-management software. It will help you keep a tight rein on your spending habits, your stock portfolio, your 401(k), and your bill payments. With more than 100 transaction categories, support for password protection, 150 currencies, and more than 20 supported languages, AceMoney Lite is powerful and clever enough for any home user or even for small businesses. It supports QIF and OFX file formats, allowing you to download information from online banks or to import it from another account's software. AceMoney Lite can generate custom reports based on any parameters you define, and can call up bar graphs and pie charts. On top of that, AceMoney Lite provides a simple loan calculator and a professional mortgage analyzer.

Version 3.11 adds an option to hide the side panel on the account page, remembers width of columns in the balance-account dialog, implements FIFO-based computation of investment gains, and makes other additions and bug fixes.

• "A free finance manager full of features"

This program promises to help you keep track of home and small-business finances. The installation runs quickly for this small download. The software is well designed, includes many features, and even supports various languages, including Russian and Slovak.

All commands are accessible from buttons within the interface, as well as in the menus. The program performs all types of calculations, downloads the latest exchange rates from the Internet, and handles online banking. Bank-account and credit-card information can be protected by passwords to keep your data secure.

A button link gives you quick access to the developer's site for updates or for help. There is no reason not to try AceMoney Lite, given it's free and has extensive features and a good design.

  "Better than many paid checking programs"

  Pros: Very easy to use. Everything the average user might need without gimmick garbage. I have tried most free checking programs and several that I paid for but I like Ace Money best. It only does one account at a time, but they tell you that up front.

  Cons: Can't complain about a free program that works well.

  Summary: This is the checking program for any home user. It especially excels in finding and removing duplicate transactions when you import over-lapping files from your bank.

  Version: AceMoney Lite 3.11

  "Great Program"

  Pros: The program is easy to use. If you get stuck just go to the "help" menu. I started using the program within minutes after going through each section. I want it for the basics to keep track of my spending and savings.

  Cons: I haven't come across any cons as of yet. Seems very simple to use!

  Pros: Very simple to use. You can even track your spending habits and see where most of your money goes.

  Cons: Only allows for one user account, however, if you need a second one simply save the one you made, close out of the program, open the program and instead of "opening" the one you just saved, make a whole new one a save it.

  Summary: Great free program and easy to use. I like it much better than the MS Money. You can't go between more than 1 saved account at the same time like you can with the paid version, but at least you can have more than one account saved and open them as ... read more >>

  Version: AceMoney Lite 3.11

  "Fast and simple!"

  Pros: Very clean and easy to use interface, forget all the headache's of using Quicken or MS Money. Imports from most any bank via Quickin or Money file. Very simple import rules to set up spending categories.

  Cons: Lite version does only have 1 account. But if you're like me, you don't need to track much more than that.

  "Pls Note: Only One Account Available"

  Pros: Easy, Slim, Light or it mean nothing

  Cons: Only one account available. If you need to use more, you have to pay. It's not real.
