Editor's review of 12Ghosts Toolbar
With a half-dozen helpful functions, this Internet Explorer toolbar proves worthwhile. 12Ghosts Toolbar installs quickly, fits well in IE, and is easily customized. The toolbar's slim Help file mostly promotes the company's many products. The single page of information about this app should be enough for experienced users, though.
You merely drag the 12Ghosts Toolbar to an open spot on the IE toolbar. Runaway dynamic elements stop immediately with one click on the autostop button. Another button toggles to stop all images from loading. There is the now-common Popup-Killer. Our testers found this one no better than Internet Explorer's native function. However, the quick toggle to enable or disable ActiveX controls is useful. A pull-down makes it a snap to set the browser window size to anything from a custom size to full screen. We found all the functions easy to use and memory stingy.
The demo disables a few functions found in the registered version. Since the toolbar is easily customized, Internet Explorer users who need only one or two of these functions might find 12Ghosts Toolbar worth installing.
