Simple, no-nonsense, handy timer utility with a cool, customizable interface. Can be used like an oven timer, alarm clock, or stopwatch. Plays wav, mp3, midi files, or any of several built-in sounds as an alarm. Can optionally display a custom, scrolling, LED-type text message when the alarm sounds to remind you why you set the timer initially. Use as an alarm clock to wake you up or remind you when it is a certain time of day or as a stopwatch to keep track of time spent on projects.

Version 2.5 adds ability to use program like a stopwatch, option to display scrolling LED-style text message when alarm sounds.

  A+ for what it is

  Pros: I needed something on my desktop to time practices with, its simple to use and works perfectly. Does not have a lot of features, but I was not looking for it to do a bunch of different things, I wanted to easily be able to set a timer and have it count down and let me know when the time was up, it does that just fine

  Cons: Recently I have had trouble with not being able to get things from download.com to download to my computer, that is still the case, after finding the product here I had to google it and find a place where I could get the download to work, other than that no problems

  Cool Timer

  Great product!

  Pros: This product is wonderful for anyone doing presentations where you want to time the activities. I use it on top of PPT instructions and link the alarm to entertaining salsa music. Adds a lot of fun to workshops, seminars and other educational programs. For free!

  Cons: There doesn't seem to be any way of re-ordering the pre-set times other than deleting them and adding them again.
