001 Action/RPG Maker is a fully-featured game creation engine where you can bring your RPG and action game ideas to life. With a new twist to point-and-click events, and a high level of customization for characters, vehicles, items, and environment, it makes it a fun and rewarding platform on which to develop your next game.

Adds map events/triggers, sound resources, and refined tools. Added advance scripting features, UI enhancements to make things much easier, fog/cloud/rain additions, WMA media file support, money/experience pick-ups, improved Vista compatibility, tons and tons of bug fixes, and general engine speed-up. Version 1.3.005 added HUD editing, more scripting features, better light control, and many bug fixes.

  001 Action/RPG Maker

  Worthless.

  Cons: Downloaded it, installed it, ran it. Tried to test the sample game, got a "Run Time Error 70 Permission Denied" error.

  Tried to view the sample game, same thing. Tried to make a game, same thing. I run most programs with ease. This one? Has some kind of fatal internal bug that allows you to do.... nothing.

  I'm not sure what the problem could possibly be, but since this thing doesn't do anything at all, when you want to test any OR create any sort of game aside from crash, this "RPG Maker" software doesn't deserve a 1 star rating, it deserves zero stars.

  Unfortunately, there is no Zero star option, so I have to give this worthless thing more praise than it's already worth.

  Sometimes, people actually bug check their programs to see if they even work. And then sometimes, you get this.

  Absolutely worthless.
