"Simple interface, smooth conversion"

Like many similar programs, this tiny freeware utility converts audio files among four popular digital-audio formats: WAV, MP3, WMA, and OGG. But Free MP3 WMA Converter succeeds where many of its peers fail: it provides a simple, reasonably attractive interface that puts commonly used features up front and less common ones where they don't get in the way.

Conversion is a simple matter of dragging and dropping the source files to the application window (or browsing to them), selecting the output format, setting any advanced options, and hitting the start button. The program comes with a basic yet convenient utility for editing file tags, and a separate audio ripper with built-in support for FreeDB.

If you're looking for a simple, effective, no-cost audio-conversion app, Free MP3 WMA Converter is a natural choice.

"Excellent program!"

Pros: Free Mp3 Wma Converter is a great audio converter. It was the first audio converter I downloaded and it is an excellent choice. Adding audio files to convert is simple and you can watch the status of what it is converting. It is absolutely free and converts to several audio formats. I downloaded it so I could convert some of my audio files from my cd (which were in m4a) to mp3 format so I could listen to my music while playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (as for some reason the game can't read m4a files.) I highly recommend you download this program, it's excellent!

"malware!"

Pros: easy to use

Cons: this app requires administrative rights to be used, and then launches some additional things like popoups to web site koyotesoft.com
according to McAfee this app contains malware!

"WMA codec does not install"

Pros: Installation error with WMA codec.

Cons: Without proper integration with WMA, it could not convert any file type to wma.
